Obituary for Candido (Con) Augusto Cavallin

CAVALLIN, Candido Augusto (Con)

It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, papa and great-papa at the Carpenter Hospice on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 after a short battle with cancer. Con was in his 89th year.

Beloved and devoted husband of the late Freida (2018) for 63 years. Cherished dad to Debby (Frank) Brouwers, Glenn (Laurine) Cavallin and Sean (Chandi) Cavallin. Dearest papa to Sarah, Heather, Hannah, Tyson, Emily, Alivia, Ryan and Jason. He will also be sadly missed by his great-grandchildren Charlotte, Lilly, William, Brynn, Paige, Cooper and Mads. Leaving behind his only brother Tony (Phyllis) Cavallin of Burlington.

Con lived for his family. His kind gentle and loving nature were an inspiration to all of us. He worked his whole life for Valley City Mfg in Dundas for 41 years and retired in 1995. All of the wonderful memories and lives he touched will be cherished forever.

Debby, Glenn and Sean would like to give a special thank you to all the amazing staff at the Carpenter Hospice for the wonderful care they provided in his stay there, we are so very grateful to you ALL!

As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to covid, there will be no celebration of life, a private family gathering will take place at a later date.

The family would appreciate donations in Dad’s memory to be directed to the Carpenter Hospice at 2250 Parkway Drive, Burlington ON, L7P 1T1.
