Obituary for Bettina Tipple (Harris)
TIPPLE, Bettina (nee Harris) -
Passed away with family by her side at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the age of 96. Predeceased by loving husband Victor Tipple (1996). Cherished mother of Sheila Chisholm (David) and the late Roger Tipple (April 29, 2018) (Joy). Proud grandmother of Jennifer Thurner (Michael), Jonathon Tipple (Jocelyne), Sarah Tipple, and the late Michael Chisholm (1981). Devoted great-grandmother of Owen, Evan, Lila, James and William. Dear sister of the late Clifford Harris (late Hettie). Bettina will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in Canada, England and Australia. Special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Joseph Brant Hospital for the excellent care provided, as well as the amazing team of staff from The Village of Tansley Woods for their support and kindness to Bettina over the last 5 years. As per her wishes, private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Prostate Cancer Canada or Sick Kids would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
