Passed away peacefully at his home in Burlington in his 71st year succumbing to an illness that took him away way too soon. Loving husband of Sandra Stretch, brother-in-law Kevin Stretch (Lena), sister-in-law Karen Stretch (Neil). Loving uncle to Paris, Alex, Troy & Ethan. Will also be missed by uncle Murray. Father, Herman (deceased) and mother, Ruth.

Cremation has taken place. A private family interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery.

For those wishing, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society can be made in Barry's memory. Barry's larger than life personality will make him hard to forget and his absence will be sorely felt.
