Obituary for Audrey Penington
With great sadness, we share that beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, Audrey Penington, passed away on Saturday March 11, 2023 after a brief stay at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington, Ontario. She bravely battled diabetes, macular degeneration and other health challenges for several years and is now at peace.
Survived by her husband Jeffrey Penington, daughters Beverley Vickers and Suzanne Lacorte, their husbands Frank Loncaric and Nick Samson, grandchildren Jason and Rebecca, step grandchildren Justin and Andrea, Kerri-Anne & Matt, Renee, Laural, Ches Chloe, and step great-grandchildren Austin, Roman, Ethan & Amelia.
Audrey was an inspiration to all her knew her, from her ambition as a young woman to join the navy in England and become a Wren, to her willingness to move the family to Canada in 1973. She spread joy and love to all who knew her and was the consummate hostess, enjoying welcoming friends into her home at every opportunity. She was an incredibly intelligent, kind and generous person, young at heart, and always putting others first.

A private family ceremony & cremation has taken place with a Celebration of Life to follow on March 23, 2023 in Burlington.
