It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Audrey who passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Friday, March 24, 2023, in her 90th year of life. Reunited with her husband Kenneth Ockenden whom she was married to for many long and happy years. Cherished mother to Joy (Brad) Hill of Vancouver, Steven (Sarah) Ockenden of Burlington and the late Kenneth Ockenden. Proud grandmother to Holly (Joel) Ockenden, Alison (Mark) Devlin, Chad (Mara) Ockenden, Graham (Wendy) Hill, James (Jordan) Ockenden and great-grandmother to Emily. Audrey may be gone from this world however she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Thursday March 30, 2023 from 12-1pm, where the Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday March 30, 2023 at 1pm. Private cremation to follow. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Salvation Army would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
