Ardith Norma Trapman (Irwin) of Burlington, Ontario born in Truro, Nova Scotia on April 15, 1938. After a brave and determined struggle against cancer she passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at the age of 81. Preceded by her parents Bessie Stokes (Bagnell) and Bruce Irwin, brother William Irwin and her beloved husband of 57 years, John Jacob Trapman. Loving and devoted mother of John William, mother-in-law to Dalia and very proud grandmother of Henry and Billy. Cousin to James McAndrew, Sue Lawton and Carol Walden, Niece of David Bagnell, best friend to Margorie Flemington, and good friend to all of her neighbours. A special thank you to the nursing staff and administration at LHIN, ParaMed, Seniors For Seniors, CalaCare and Acclaim for their care and compassion. An informal celebration of life will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 4-7pm.
