Annie Mae Bell (Woodland)
BELL, Annie Mae (nee Woodland)-
Passed away peacefully in Burlington, surrounded by her family, on Friday, August 24, 2018 at the age of 93.

She was born April 24 1925 in New Waterford, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to Pleman and Lucy Woodland, now deceased. Anne was one of 11 children and is survived by one sister, Marion McNeil of New Waterford.

She is survived by her two loving children, Wendy (John Thomson) of Burlington and Gary (Cathy) of Vineland. She was an amazing grandmother to Lauren, Brittany, Michael and Andrew.

Anne was preceded by her husband Tom, whom she met during WWII when he served in the army and was stationed in Cape Breton. They married at the end of the war and moved to Toronto and started their lives together.

They owned a tri-plex home in Toronto which allowed Anne to enjoy the company of many boarders. She loved to entertain and often had dinner parties with friends.
Their next adventure was owning a motel in Paris, Ontario which continued Anne’s passion for entertaining people from all over the world.

Later in life Anne met William (Paul) Palmark and they spent their golden years together. They traveled across Canada in their RV and spent 26 wonderful winters in Fort Myers, Florida.
