Passed away peacefully at Mount Nemo Nursing Home in Burlington on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the age of 90. Predeceased by her beloved husband John in 2009 and her siblings Hank, Tony, Thea, Ans and Ine. Loving mother to Mary Ann and Twan. Cherished grandmother of Vincent. Anita will be dearly missed by her brothers Leo and John as well as many extended family members and friends.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2265 Headon Road, Burlington on Wednesday, June 26 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to The Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
