It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of "Big Ang" Alfieri on May 6, 2023 at the age of 67. Son of the late Assunta and Vincenzo Alfieri. Predeceased by his loving wife of 41 years, Marisa Alfieri, his "Bambola". Beloved father of Jason (Natia), Rita (Benny) and Mike (Katie). Proud Nonno of Michael, Stephen, Alessia and Marisa. Beloved brother of Nicola (Santina) and the late Pasquale (Lina) Alfieri. Son-in-law of Lina and the late Battista DiPietro. Beloved nephew of Rita (late Donato) Tartaglia and Maria (late Domenic) Alfieri.
Angelo was proud of his roots in Santa Croce di Magliano, Italy. He was well accomplished , knowing many languages and the ability to play many instruments but most notably the accordion. He will be missed by his nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday May 10, 2023 from 3-8 pm where Funeral Prayers will be held on Thursday May 11, 2023 at 1 p.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
