Benn, Allan

Passed away peacefully at Burloak Long Term Care Centre, on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Carol for 57 years. Loving father of Denise Rewegan (Les) and Michelle Benn (John Burns). Proud grandfather of Alex Rewegan. Predeceased by his sister Lois and brother Art (Shirley). Allan will be dearly missed by family and friends. An avid shooter and long-time member and Treasurer of the Burlington Rifle and Revolver Club. Special thanks to the staff at Burloak Long Term Care (Brant House). Cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 12 noon until the time of a Service of Remembrance in the Chapel at 1 PM. Reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Allan to The Parkinson Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
