PALERMO, Alberta Muriel (nee Draker)
With grief for her loss but tremendous gratitude for her life, the family of Alberta Muriel Palermo announce the passing of their mother, grandmother and great grandmother on March 22nd. Reunited with her late husband Frederick (2021), her parents Nellie and Albert Draker and siblings John (Jack) and Norman. Survived by her children Tony (Eileen) and Leann (the late Patrick) Sweeney. Muriel will be missed by her grandchildren Meagan, Michael (Sarah), Jason and Dylan; and by her great granddaughter Madeline, her sister Roberta Pokoradi and many family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Cama Woodlands for the extraordinary care and support provided to our mother and family.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, March 26th from 4-7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (287 Plains Rd E, Burlington, ON) on Monday, March 27th, at 12:30 p.m. Private Interment at Bayview Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Good Shepherd, 135 Mary St. Hamilton, L8R 1K4 or Parkinson Canada (www.parkinson.ca) would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
