Unexpectedly at Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Doug Scott, married 62 years. Loving mother of Susan Scott, Phil (Susan), Roger (Taraleigh) and Warren “Cobb” (Audrey). Cherished grandmother of Shawna, Chris, Andrew (Bridget), Amanda, Richard (Jess), Jordan, Eric (Brandi) and great grandmother of Abby, Douglas and Emmett. Mary-Jane is survived by her siblings Larry Burgess and Beverley Lipsitt. Cremation has taken place. Service of Remembrance will be held at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, 156 Main Street West, Grimsby on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:30a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in her memory are asked to please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
