Condolence: Joanne my sincerest condolences to you and your Family at this very sad time. As you know I met Doug in the early 70's at the Royal Bank and remained friends throughout our careers. We had many a good times together and I remember clearly when we met you and your work mates at the local watering hole 'Friday's'. The rest was history. Fondest memories where our fishing trips up north with Paul and Henry and our numerous Las Vegas trips. Doug was always in the forefront of organizing. He was a founding member of the 'Enterprise' which was so much fun over the years. The numerous 'Geezor' lunches with old bankers was always a good time. Condolence: Our sincere condolences to Jo Ann and family at their loss of Doug, a sincere laid back fun loving guy. There were many great times in Montreal and Toronto and a couple of trips to Vegas that I will remember fondly. In recent years I was pleased that the “guessers” lunch group maintained their occasional get together so that we were able to keep up with each other’s activities. Doug was a very caring and thoughtful person. When Ann and I were new in Toronto and Xmas fast approaching we were so appreciative of Doug realizing that we had no family in Canada invited us to spend Xmas dinner with him and his large family in Hamilton. A gesture that we so appreciated and will never forget. We feel gifted to have known Doug and very sad at his passing.
