Rizzi, Anna (nee Pisciaroli)
Peacefully, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of the late Nicola Rizzi (1996). Loving mother of Constantino 'Tino', Gaetano 'Guy' (Michelle), and Gina. Cherished grandmother of Tanya Charest, Seryna Harris, Jeremy Claydon and Nicola Rizzi. Predeceased by her sister Rina Dinardo. Also missed by many friends and extended family in Italy. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to Clarion Nursing Home and St. Joseph's Hospital, Nephrology Unit-7th floor, for their exceptional care and compassion. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m with Vigil Prayers at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 304 Highway #8, Stoney Creek on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and The Kidney Foundation of Canada would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
