Obituary for Gregory Kuzmenko

Gregory  Kuzmenko
Passed away at the age of 65, after a courageous battle with cancer. Loved son of Alexandra and the late Mykola and son-in-law of the late Syl and the late Muriel Tudin. Missing him terribly is his wife of 41 years, Deborah, sons Christopher (Joanne) and Matthew. Loved brother to the late Nick (late Moira), Peter and Paul (Rosetta), and dear cousin to John and Larisa Serth. Brother-in-law to Donna and Frank Kavcic, Greg Tudin (Franca), Jeff and Shelley Tudin. Loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by best friends Ted and Marie Brown. Greg graduated from Glendale High School and completed a 5 year Electrical Engineering and Management Degree from McMaster, and then went on to complete his MBA. Greg's career spanned over 30 years in Senior Management roles in Healthcare Environment, including Hamilton Health Sciences, Aramark, Carillon and Niagara Health System. He was an active member of the Canadian Standards Association (Healthcare), the Canadian Healthcare Engineering Society, and Chairman of the Brantford Chapter of Professional Engineers of Ontario. Greg also sat on the Board of the Bob Rumball Association for the Deaf. Special thank you to the Palliative Care Unit at Brantford General Hospital for their care and compassion. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Vladimir's Cathedral, 855 Barton Street East, Hamilton on Friday, February 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens, Burlington. If desired, memorial contributions to the Brantford General Hospital Palliative Care Unit or Brantford General Hospital Cancer Clinic would be sincerely appreciated by the family. www.smithsfh.com
