Condolences

Condolence From: Amna Khan
Condolence: Hi. I just learned of Chris's passing and I am still in shock. We were very close friends while he lived in BC, we drifted a bit once he moved but we managed to speak often. I am now living in Panama and have been wondering why he does not return phonecalls or respond to my emails. I love him so very much.
Anne, and Mike, who Chris has spoken of to me- my heart goes out to you and I so wish I had known sooner. Chris was an angel in so many ways. In every way.

Condolence: It's been 2 weeks since Chris has left us and I think of him every day. He was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor, very knowledgeable and never a harsh word about anyone. We worked together on many projects and he was always very helpful no matter how busy he was.

Please accept my sincere condolences to his mother, Anne, whom he was so close to and his boyfriend Mike who he was so happy with.

Condolence: I had the pleasure to work with Chris on many projects. He was always helpful and understanding. I will miss his smile and his wonderful nature. He never had a bad or cross word to say about anyone. I am glad that I had an opportunity to know Chris. I miss him and will always remember him. My sincere condolences to his mother Anne whom he was so close to and Mike whom he cherished.

Condolence From: From CCOHS
Condolence: I came by your cubicle,
to say a word or two.
Your chair was there,
and your empty cup too.
They told me you had left us,
but I could not comprehend.
In a moment I suddenly saw,
memories of you, flashed before my eyes.
I heard the echo of your laughter,
and had a vision of your smile.
A cheery hello,
with a wave to match.
I saw your teapot at the tap,
with its rainbow coloured coat.
A chitchat in the photocopy room,
a treasure, now lost forever.
You never said you were leaving us,
you never said goodbye.
Your time with us was brief,
but rich in absolute delight.
Our little world at CCOHS,
has become quiet and still.
A ray of sunshine you were,
and touched many of us.
A dry eye there isn’t one,
as you were dear to all of us.
Chris Ellerbeck, you were a part of us,
and we are less, without you here.

Condolence: Firstly my deepest condolences to Anne.
I knew Chris many years ago, at the time of his high school Prom. We worked together and hung out quite often. I'll never forget going to see Radiohead with him. He was quirky, smart, always positive and had a grin i'll never forget! Gone too soon. May you R.I.P Chris xo

Condolence: As with everyone, Chris's passing was a shock. I had the privilege to work with Chris on several projects and aside from his expertise as a programmer, I cherished his joyful, enthusiastic, energetic approach to pretty much everything. He openly shared, and was generous with his compliments, opinions (political and otherwise)and time. He always tried to squeeze one more favour in, regardless of his commitments. I will miss his sunny, thoughtful energy and wide grin. And as I think of him leaving us, I picture him in his long coat, bunny hat flapping in the wind strutting busily off to his next adventure. He will always be our Eveready bunny who keeps on... My deepest sympathies to Mrs Ellerbeck and Mike.

Condolence: Seeing Chris' smile and hearing his laughter brought joy to my heart and many others at CCOHS. Even more special was that we had a mutual connection, a former CCOHS Federal intern. Chris was so kind to help me reconnect with them, it was just his way, kind and generous of spirit. Myself and my family wish you a safe journey. I will miss you very much. Peace my Brother, Peace.
