Peacefully at Sunrise of Burlington, on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her beloved husband Ralph Tucker (July, 2003). Loving mother of Gail Tucker, Howard Tucker, Janice Fifer (Rick) and Robin Tucker. Cherished grandmother of Drew, Ashley (Branden), Samantha and Ian. Survived by her sister Marjorie Tamo and her husband Spiro and sisters-in-law Meghan and Dorothea. Predeceased by siblings Wilbert, Raymond and Mabel (the late Halstead). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, October 1, 2018 from 12 noon until the time of a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 1p.m. Reception to follow. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Nellie are asked to please consider the Alzheimer’s Society.
