Jo's last words on the ice to my team just before the start of the third period against a team we knew we were going to lose against: 'Hey, we're doing great. Let's just keep going and keep having fun!' Jo stopped as many pucks as she could up until the final buzzer. I will keep those words close to my heart every time I play the sport that has brought so many amazing people like Jo into my life. She was a leader, competitor, and friend who will be dearly missed.
