Obituary for Donald Allan "Don" Reid
REID, Donald Allan
Peacefully at Joseph Brant Hospital on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Verna Reid. Loving father of Steven Reid (Laura), Shawn Reid and Nancy McDonagh (Tom). Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Korey, Casey and Nicole. Don is survived by his sister Muriel. Predeceased by his parents Joshua and Florence and siblings Jim, Charles, Florence and Marjorie. Don is a retired employee of the Burlington Fire Department, he will be fondly remembered for his love of the cottage. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 1p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Don to the Hamilton General Hospital Burn Unit would be greatly appreciated.
