MASINI, Bruno Ugo (1924-2017)

Born in Lizano in Belvedere, Italy of the late Alberto and Amedea (nee Bernardi) Masini, we sadly announce the passing of Bruno at the Joseph Brant Hospital on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the age of 93. Dear father of Albert (Rhonda) and Amedea and will be missed by their mother Celeste. Loving grandfather to Alberto (Monica), Michael (Cassandra), and Chelsea (Vince). Cherished great- grandfather of Ava, Mya, Ila, and Nathan. Bruno was a honourary 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus -Council #5073 Burlington, an avid bowler, a member of Club Italia, member of the YMCA and enjoyed his time with friends at the Italian Canadian Club. He loved his hometown Burlington spending many hours walking along the water at Spencer Smith Park and gardening in his private paradise. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 2016 Blairholm Avenue, Burlington, Ontario at 10:30 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
