ROWLEY, Ada Ruth
Passed away peacefully at the Maple Villa Long Term Care Centre on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Ruth was born in St. Thomas 94 years ago. Her great passions were her husband “Bud” her family and after the passing of Bud in August 1975 enjoyed activities of bowling (inside & out), sailing and being navigator for a special sport of long distant race driving along with her CNIB friends. She also loved to take summer trips, taking a friend along with her as they traveled the countryside with her family. Ruth leaves behind her daughter Gail Wilson and son Bill Rowley, four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Maple Villa for the many kindnesses shown to Ruth during the past 14.5 years. In keeping with Mom’s wishes, there will be no service. Cremation and a private family service has taken place. If desired, in lieu of flowers, donations to Maple Villa Long Term Care Centre, 441 Maple Avenue, Burlington, or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
