Surrounded by his loved ones at Joseph Brant Hospital on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at the age of 86. Survived by his loving wife Joela “Jo” (nee McCormick). Cherished father of Jan, Denise (Barry), Lauren (Robert), Gail (David), and Stephanie (Edward). Devoted grandfather to Kelly, Marie, Jack and Sam. Peter will be dearly missed by extended family and friends. Service of Remembrance at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Friends are welcome to gather from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, in lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or Sick Kids Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
