ESPEY, Charles Alan “Alan”
Peacefully with family by his side at the Village of Tansley Woods, Burlington on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Shirley Espey (nee Wort). Loving father of Sharon Weber (the late Dick Weber) and Paul Espey (Karyn Lumsden). Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Will and Nicole. Alan is survived by his sister Joan. He is predeceased by brothers James and David. As per Alan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block North of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 1p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Alan are asked to please consider the Ontario Lung Association or the Alzheimer Society of Ontario.
