Alfred Ronald McNalley
McNALLEY, Alfred Ronald

On Wednesday, February 20th, 2019, Reverend Alfred Ronald McNalley, a man of great faith was gathered up by a host of angels and taken from his earthly home to his heavenly home with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ peacefully. He was born in Coe Hill, Ontario on June 20th, 1929. Survived by his devoted wife Eileen, his sisters Mildred and Muriel, his children Helen, Ron (Vicki), Neil (Glenda), Philip and Sonya. Predeceased by his parents Bruce and Beatrice McNalley, his first wife Ruth McNalley, daughter Glenda McNalley, son-in-law Rudy Becton, sisters Beulah, Dorothy and Ruth, and brothers Bill, George and John. Also survived by grandchildren Alicia (Brent), Arlen, Ryan (Jessica), Melissa, Amanda (Ben), Shauna (Jay), Shawn, David (Valerie) and Nyah. Also, 13 amazing great-grandchildren, Colin, Sean, Riley, C.J., Emily, Connor, Shannon, Ryan, Hailey, Noah, Hannah, Ruth and Leia. Rev. McNalley spent a very blessed and fulfilling lifetime of service to the Lord Jesus! Having pastored churches in Napanee, Toronto, Whitby, Texas, Tennessee, and his remaining retirement years from parish service as the very honoured and privileged resident chaplain at The Ancaster Old Mill for many years. It was at this location where he felt so privileged to officiate at many hundreds of weddings and other important family occasions. He considered Ron and Marylou Ciancone, along with Aaron and the entire Ciancone family to be the finest people he had been involved with in his entire life of service to the Lord. David and Brenda Ciancone were also among his esteemed and valued friends. He often said: “After being officially ordained into the Apostolic Service of Christ Jesus, I never worked a day in my life, my time belonged to Jesus. All I did was Enjoy it.” I leave you with the verse of scripture from God’s word that changed my life, and can truly change anyone’s life. St. John 3:16-18. In keeping with Alfred’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Compass Point Bible Church, 1500 Kerns Road, Burlington, on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 2 p.m. followed by a reception.
