Condolence From: Richard Pantel
Condolence: Heartfelt condolences to Teresa and all the extended Tharby Family. We were saddened to learn of the passing of our longtime neighbour in Burlington.
Our family lived across the street from Ron and his family. My parents, Ted and Gerda Pantel, were their neighbours and friends for nearly 50 years.
We wish everyone in the Tharby Family our best wishes and sympathies.

Rick, Jennifer, Lydia and Sabina Pantel

Daryl, Pamela, and the Tharby Family,

We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Although we never met him, we really enjoyed reading about his life, his interests, and accomplishments. What a great man!

We are glad to hear that he was surrounded by his loving family as he passed.

Condolence From: Hayes Family
Condolence: Our heartfelt condolences to the Tharby Family upon hearing of the passing of Mr. Tharby. It was great getting to know him as our families reconnected through Brendan's involvement in baseball and hockey with Jordan over the years.

His accomplishments have had great global impact through his career along with his contributions to Burlington through raising a very community driven family - he will be sorely missed.

A fixture at his grandchildren's sporting events, provided him a chance to share his insightful perspective on the game he just watched - usually as he waited for Brendan (last out of the dressing room). He ALWAYS shared a compliment AND a criticism of the teams play - I'm guessing his sons may heard that after every game as they were growing up!!

Take comfort in all the wonderful memories you have as a family and may they help you through the difficult days ahead.

Love from Scott, Lisa, Abby and Jordan

Condolence From: ANDY & CHARLENE PICKARD
Condolence: Teresa, I want to send our condolences on your loss. While Charlene and I have not been married quite as many years as you and Ron (only 46 years), I understand what it is like to lose a life-long spouse, since Charlene now has advanced dementia and is unable to understand words or names.
Ron and I go back a fair number of years, at Petro-Canada, CGSB and ASTM. We have been missing Ron's input in the last few years.
May God bless and support you at this time and in the future.

Condolence From: Stan and Susanne Britton
Condolence: We are saddened to hear about the passing of the patriarch of the Tharby family. Our dear friend Clive Tharby often spoke so warmly and lovingly about his father. The story of his fathers development of the 1988 Olympic torch was a story that Clive proudly told. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Tharby family and especially our close friends Clive, Maya and Elle.
