Passed away peacefully to be with his Heavenly Father, on Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Ancaster, at the age of 79. Loving husband of Angela Helbrecht (prev. Kuch). Predeceased by his first wife Lilli Helbrecht (nee Neumann). Cherished father of Claudia Derksen (Bryan), Bärbel McGibbon (Graham), Annette Hanks (Ronald), and Michael Helbrecht (Monica). Stepfather of Mark Kuch (Cynthia), Andrew Kuch (Kim), Michael Kuch (Lana). Proud Opa of Joshua Hanks, Andreas Derksen (Jessica Ropp), Alexandria Hanks (Doug Cameron), Kristen Martin (Brandon), Brittany Hanks, Sarah McGibbon, Megan Helbrecht, Ella McGibbon, Alexis Helbrecht, Ava Helbrecht, Emily Kuch, Rebecca Kuch, Arron Kuch, Cameron Kuch and Caden Kuch. Dear brother of Alice Lange (Alfred), Edmund Helbrecht (Erika), and Erwin Helbrecht (Brigette). Arthur will also be dearly missed by extended family and friends. Our heartfelt thank you to all the caregivers at Willowgrove Long Term Care Residence in Ancaster who shared Arthur’s last days and treated him as family. No visitation will take place. A Funeral Service will be held at Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church (1401 Guelph Line, Burlington), on Thursday, January 10th, 2019, beginning at 11:00 a.m. A Reception will immediately follow the service in the Church hall. A private Interment will be held for immediate family at St. Jude’s Cemetery in Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Arthur may be made to Immanuel Pentecostal Church (Kitchener), or Das Kanada Haus (Germany) and would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
