Condolences

Condolence From: Jay Jackson
Condolence: Terry and I attended photography school on Oakville together. One of my great college friends and an excellent industrial/commercial photographer. Thanks to the internet, I look up classmates, and very sad to learn of Terry passing just a few months ago. A very kind and sensitive person.

Condolence: Very saddened to hear of Terry's passing. I've always appreciated his ability to inspire passion with not just photography but also of life. His humor was a reminder to laugh and love above everything else. I thank-you for sharing your wisdom and talent with generosity and sincerity. God bless.

Condolence: Terry and I spent many hours in the studio composing the perfect food photography. It was a team effort but I learned a lot from Terry. And 'work' was fun! I think of him often.
Such sad news for such a talented photographer and fun person.

Condolence: One of our brightest guiding lights has gone dark :(

I knew Terry Robertson from my earliest days as a student, and he has and always will be one of my guiding stars.

Talented, kind, and respected by all, he was as much a gentleman at all times as a bulldog for professionalism and ambassador to the industry.

Always one of the good guys, one of the true talents, and one that you would look up to that can never be replaced.

RIP my friend

Condolence: I first met Terry in about 1977 at the Hamilton Niagara Branch of PPO. From there after developed a professional relationship via PPO /PPOC. He was eager to share knowledge when approached, and through various committees and conventions he was a steadfast supporter. I admired his meticulous approach to his commercial photography, every detail important, done with such patience. When ever we met, he always made time to chat and listen. His sense of humour was desert dry and quick, with a smirky smile.I have posted a photo of him in his military uniform from his time in the Canadian Armed Services. He was SO proud that it fit him perfectly so many years later! I will miss him.

Condolence: So very sad to hear of Terry's passing. I have known him for a long time and remember his encouragement and guidance in the early days of print competition which took me to great hights. Always ready to help and very methodical in his approach to answering questions. An awesome commercial photographer with a very keen eye for detail and a wonderful kind, considerate, respected and giving individual. I'm very privileged to have known him and call him my friend. R.I.P Terry you will be missed by many.

Condolence: A kinder, gentler, more generous soul would be hard to find.As a photographer, he was one of the most knowledgeable people in the business. In his work over several decades with the Professional Photographers of Canada, he would answer any question, speak with any student or professional about their work. He was a guiding light in the best sense... You were never aware he was guiding. He spoke with everyone as an equal. No matter what the job, he always gave his best. Terry, you are sorely missed!

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing. There were few people in this world as special as he was. Although we didn't visit often, I always loved our conversations. He will be sorely missed. Rest peacefully, friend.

Condolence: Terry, my only older cousin, who I followed around with my sisters when we were 10,11, 12 and Terry was 16 -when visiting Grandmas and Terry was looking after Uncle John's four German Shepherds- will always have fond memories of Terry never minding us hanging out with him. I last shared a breakfast with Terry this past summer at Williams Cafe on the waterfront and we reminisced ... will miss my cousin Terry I trust he is at peace.Love Cathie
