After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Angelo Mancuso, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 23, 2018, at the age of 53. Beloved husband of Flavia and adored father of Marcanthony, Matthew and fiancée Christina. Angelo was the cherished son of Stella Mancuso and the late Antonio Mancuso and son-in-law of Marisa and the late Ottavio Altobelli. He will be greatly missed by his sister Mary (Michele) Filice, brother Ralph, sister-in-law Josie (Charles) Hayes, and Annamaria (Ryan) Batt. He will be sadly missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. A special thank-you to the C4 and M2 Rehab teams at Juravinski, and Father Charlie for his visits and prayers. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 3-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 8:45 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Canadian Cancer Society or McMaster Children's Hospital would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
