STOKES, JENNY ALPHONSINA
Passed away peacefully in her 72nd year with her family at her side at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton on December 14, 2018. A beloved wife of David, mother of Annette (Brian) Morgan, grandmother of Jennifer and Brian James (B. J.), great grandmother to Hailey, Arianna, Jaelynn and Peyton. Predeceased by her parents, Maria (Vantieghem) and Jozef Vanderbogaerde and her sister Lucreśe (Grace DeKind) of Chicago. She had many cousins, nieces and nephews, especially her family in Belgium. She worked as the Supervisor of School Crossing Guards to her retirement and was previously employed by the TD bank for 25 Years. She was also very involved during her life with the Ontario Dancesport. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Juravinski and St. Peters Hospitals.

Cousin to Jenny Vantieghem (Hubert Bogaert) and her family Eveline and David and their families Shania, Mathis, Tristan, Thomas and Jasime as well as Anne-Lizabeth De Smedt (Jan Sijnave) and her family Valerie (Lorenzo Cilli) and Davine and their family Fabrice and Ninette. Aunt to Jimmy (Marleen) of Chicago.
Sister-in-law to Barbara, Mary, Carol, Patricia, John, Sandy, Rita and Norman and aunt and great-aunt to many.

Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Monday, December 17 from 7 -9 p.m. and Tuesday, December 18 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Visitation at St. Elizabeth of Hungary (391 Rymal Road West, Hamilton) on Wednesday, December 19 starting at 10 a.m., with Funeral Mass being celebrated at 11 a.m.
