Passed away peacefully at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family, now reunited in heaven with her loving husband Aloisius van Troost (1999). Anne was predeceased by her parents Emelie and Petrus Andriessen and all of her brothers and sisters. Survived by her nephew Franc Andriessen (Marian) of Canada and many nieces and nephews in The Netherlands, who will fondly remember her. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anne was an active member of the Catholic Women's League of St. Francis Xavier Parish in Stoney Creek for 62 years, where she served as President for several years. She also knitted hundreds of blankets for Birthright, teaching others how to knit, and collecting blankets for those in need. Throughout her lifetime, Anne supported multiple charities and had a great love of children and animals. Thank you to the staff of the Meadows Long Term Care Home for all their care and compassion shown to Anne and her family.
