Obituary for Peter Paul Hilbert

With sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Peter on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Ludmila (nee Kopacova). Loving father of Reverend Martin Hilbert and Helena Karabela (Henry). Cherished grandfather of Matthew (Magdalena), Madeleine, Karina, Daniel, Thomas and Lillian. Blessed to be great-grandfather of Henry and Evelyn. Missed also by extended family and many friends. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville. If desired, memorial contributions to St. Joseph's Parish- Grimsby, The Oratory of St Philip Neri - Toronto, or Wellspring Cultural Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
