Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Albright Manor in Beamsville, on Sunday, September 30, 2018, in her 90th year. Beloved mother of Hali Walker A.K.A. Helen Uzelac, Judy Uzelac (Tim Wagenaar) and the late Mike Uzelac (2013). Cherished grandmother of Brooke Bond (Chad), Steven Mauro (Elle), the late Daniel Hodges (2010), Jennifer Hodges (Chad), Christopher Hodges, Alicia Hodges (Steven), Kayleigh Hodges (Aaron), Mike Uzelac, and great-grandmother of Greyson and Hannah. Dear sister of Mileva Stanojevic (Zdravko) and Stevo Bajic (Marinka). Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Friday, October 5, 2018 from 4-9 p.m. Funeral Service (Opalo) will be held at 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with Fr. Dejan Obradovic officiating. Final Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 9-9:30 a.m. followed by Graveside Service at Woodland Cemetery, 885 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington at 10:30 a.m. (Section 11, Lot 33). If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
