Our dearest husband, father and grandfather passed away in Burlington, Ont., on Friday, September 14, 2018 in his 98th year. Peter was an enterprising, industrious, multi-talented man of great inner strength and determination, an inveterate scholar who cherished his family and his Ukrainian roots. He is remembered with enduring love by his wife Mary (nee Holota) who shared with him 67 years of mutual devotion, son Roman (Dulcie), daughter Donia (Chris) and his precious grandchildren, Katie and Evan. Predeceased in Ukraine by his parents Roman and Lukea, sister Maria and brother Ivan. Visitors are welcome at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 4-8pm. Panachyda at 7:30pm. Private family funeral. In keeping with Peter's nature, please offer your support where needed.
