The Lord took home our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Bob C. Van Rijn. Dearest Mom of Shirley and Dan, George and Laurie, Rick and Julie, Joanne and Bob, Sandy, Ingrid and Brian. Sister of Peter and Ann, Edward, Hilly, Els and Nienke. Sister-in-law of John and Liz Van Ryn.
Visitation at SMITH’s FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of the QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Friday, September 14 from 7-9 p.m. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 15 at 1 p.m. Private family interment. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations to Operation Smile Canada (in lieu of flowers) would be appreciated by the family.
