It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Ochoa Jaime Arturo on Wednesday August 29, 2018 at Erie County Medical Centre in Buffalo, New York at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Marlene (nee Miranda), his wife of 43 years. Cherished son of Jesus and the late Zoila Mercedes. Loving father of Shelley (Ryan), Danny (Nazy) and Jonathan (Malinda). Proud grandfather of Nikita, Grayson, Cruz, Nathan, Riley and Jonah. Dear brother of Juana (Napoleon), Gloria (Marco), Sonia, Noris (Oscar), Max (Monica), Wilson (Johanna), Marina, Cecilia (Maurizio), Jessica (Oswaldo), Leonardo (Mariel), Xavier (Beatriz) and their families. Jaime was a great man, deeply respected and an inspiration too many. His hearty laugh and great sense of humor will be sorely missed by all who had the opportunity to get to know him. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 8:30p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Spinal Cord Injury of Ontario would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
