Gone to be with his heavenly Father, at Shalom Manor, on Sunday, August 19, 2018, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Grietje (Margaret) of 62 years. Loved father of Dorothy Williams (Larry), Shirley Verkuyl (John), Gerald Vandenberg (Shirley) and Rosalinde Wierdsma (Robert). Cherished grandfather of Lacey, Adam (Kristen), Charles (Hannah), Patrick (Andrea), Steven, Savannah (Chris), Jesse, Laura (Roy), Graham (Kalene), Benjamin (Kelsey), Samantha and Daniel and great grandfather of Elsa, Isis, Peter, Asha, Jeffrey, Owen, Uri, Jay, Henry and Penelope. Predeceased by brothers Jo, Bert and Lees and sisters Anna Bron and Elisabeth van Onselen. Funeral Service will be held at Fruitland Christian Reformed Church, 805 Highway #8, Stoney Creek, on Friday, August 31, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. Private interment at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to Shalom Manor would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
