Obituary for Carmela Centritto (D'Angelo)

Passed away peacefully at Albright Manor Long Term Care Centre on August 2, 2018 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Antonio. Loving mother of George and Josie Centritto, Nicolina and Tony DiDonato, Maria and Russ Archibald, and Bruno and Nancy Centritto. Predeceased by her parents Carmine and Anna Maria and brother Giorgio D’Angelo. Also predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Nicola and Carmela Centritto. Cherished Nonna of Anthony (Carla), Vincenzo, Davide (Jennifer), Francine, Michael, Chelsea, Corrina and Gabriel. Loving Bisnonna to Ava, Adrian, Ella and Alex. Sister-in-law of the late Giuseppe Centritto (the late Maria), the late Anna Zingaro (the late Vincenzo), the late Luciano Centritto (the late Maria), the late Pasquale Centritto (Maria), Maria Delmano (Antonio), Giovanni Centritto (Adriana), and Aurelia Caiella (Vincenzo). Carmela will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada, Italy, Venezuela, and Switzerland. The family wishes to thank the staff at Albright Manor Long Term Care (5th floor) for the love and kindness given to Carmela, especially Louise and Shelley. Many thanks to Fr. Ron and Fr. Charlie for their special prayers. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, corner of Nash Road and Barton Street, Hamilton on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
