Obituary for Kenneth Saunders
Kenneth passed away peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice on July 28th at the age of 79 years with his beloved daughters by his side. Loving father of Karen Knill (Gord Williams) and Laura (Henry) and proud Grandfather of Jennifer, Harrison, Andrew and Liisa. Beloved brother to Mary (Ray) and Robert (Janet) and dear son of Nell and Frank Saunders. Kenneth will be deeply missed by his family and his many friends. Sincere thanks from Ken's family to his special friend Marg for her kindness and support. Among countless beautiful memories, he will always be remembered for his generous and tender heart, infectious laughter and wonderful sense of humour. May time be kind in healing the hearts of all who share our loss. A Memorial Gathering will take place at Smith’s Funeral Home at 1167 Guelph Line in Burlington (905) 632-3333, on Sunday August 19th from 3:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. For those who wish, donations to The Carpenter Hospice in Ken’s memory in lieu of flowers are sincerely appreciated.
