Obituary for Virginia "Vicki" Diane Campagnolo (Edwards)

Virginia "Vicki" Diane Campagnolo (Edwards)
Virginia "Vicki" Diane Campagnolo (Edwards)
December 18, 1940 - July 29, 2018

Passed away peacefully on July 29, 2018 in her 78th year. Loving wife of Frank for 57 years and beloved mother of Nancy and Joanne (Wayne). Cherished grandmother of William, Colleen Gair and Jake Spasoski. She was the 12th of 12 siblings. Born in Hamilton and lived in Stoney Creek, where she resided until retiring from the two local banks in Stoney Creek. She was very fortunate to be able to be retired as long as she was employed - 26 years, enabling them to enjoy many years at their summer home in Haliburton Highlands. She was an avid card player, member of Hamilton Crib league, Winona Seniors Club and Club 60, loved knitting, sewing, crocheting and cooking, and most of all, her many loving friends she met along the way. She hopes she made a difference in trying to be kind to all she met in her lifetime. In keeping with Vicki's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.

To Frank: Memory is a lovely lane where love is ever true. Memories of our life together was a beautiful journey.

A special thank you to St. Peter's Hospice for their compassion and kindness, and for allowing her to find her peace. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Peter's Hospice. Arrangements entrusted to SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222)
