PAYETTE, Ann Nancy (nee Williamson)
Peacefully, on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at age 90. Nancy, dearly beloved wife of Maurice Payette (deceased June 3, 2004). Loving mother of Linda (Vittorio Marra), Carole (Steve Linton), Jo-Anne (Bill Fleming), Stephen and David. She dearly loved her grandchildren Michael (Marina), Stephanie (Mike), Gregory, Graham (Elizabeth), Alex (Leah), Justin, Chelsey, Christopher and her great-grandchildren Layla, Aria, Mikaia, Charlotte, Troy, Alessio and Marino. She also leaves to mourn her sister-in-law and best friend, Fleurette Pelletier of Cornwall, and her niece Diane. Nancy was a whiz at all things mathematical, was a master of knitting and needlework, and created wonderful designs that her family cherish and display in their homes. Nancy will be remembered for her strength through hard times, her sense of humour, kindness and generosity.
Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 9:00.a.m. - 10:00.a.m. A Service of Remembrance will begin at 10:00 a.m. Nancy’s ashes will later be laid to rest beside her husband at the Field of Honour Cemetery in Pointe Claire, Quebec. A heartfelt thank you to the caring doctors, nurses and staff at Mt. Nemo Christian Nursing Home for the exceptional care and kindness shown to our mother.
