Passed away at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, June 14, 2018, at the age of 82. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 60 years, Luba (Louise) and daughter Kathy. Predeceased by his son Paul. Survived by his sisters Mary Patchev (late Steve) of Grimsby and Luba Jaremenko (late Bill) of Kitchener and many nieces and nephews. Alex was a long time resident of Grimsby. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting. Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. Panachyda Monday at 6:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Private family service and interment at Grimsby Mountain Cemetery at a later date.
