Condolences

Condolence From: Dr Larry Komer
Condolence: Mary Lou was my idea of the perfect nurse. For many years I made rounds on post-partum patients on 2 South and Mary Lou would walk with me in her white nurses' uniform and with a clipboard that had detailed notes on every patient. She knew everything about her patients. Being a nurse was her calling and she always brought her profession honour with her compassion and kindness. Her impressions were incredibly valuable when there was a problem to solve.
At times, I would get a call in the office about a patient. Mary Lou would start out that there was "something not quite right with the new mom". I learned to go to the hospital immediately as she was always correct. She headed off problems before they became disastrous. Mary Lou was a pleasure to work with.I have described her as one of the very best nurses I have ever met.
We shared the love of hockey and had many dear mutual friends associated with the game. Mary Lou would talk proudly about her family and what they were doing.

I am very sad to hear of her passing and my sincerest condolences go out to her family.

Mary Lou was a person who made the world a much better place, often one baby at a time.

Condolence: 'The love you've shared and the difference you've made'-
J Seymour This quote definitely sums up Mary Lou's time with her colleagues and family and also when she was in Warkworth. Our sincere condolences to Bob, and family..'the sun sets...The moon sets...But they are not gone! You, Mary Lou have not gone!'
Love and fond remembrances,
Bill and Barbara Isaac

Condolence: My condolences to the Ward family. Death is one of the hardest things to deal with but the Bible gives us a wonderful hope for our dead loved ones. It says at John 5:28,29...”for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. “ This will be a wonderful time because we will see our dead loved ones again. Continue to beg God for endurance until that time comes.

Condolence: Bob, Peggy, Scott and family
My condolences to all of you. I have very fond memories of your family and all the stories about the 'Golden Girls'- Ruth, Audrey, Carol, and Mary Lou. I believe my Dad called them that! My parents met each other through Mary Lou and Bob. It's quite a gift to have friends for such a long time in your life.
Sincerely
Leslie (Plater) Dillon
