Condolences

Condolence From: Josh Vogel (Loopie Beer)
Condolence: Met Bill through ‘Brews and Views’ where he helped me navigate through my early days of brewing. His wisdom and knowledge on ALL things was remarkable.
I was fortunate enough to meet Bill in July 2016 when he agreed to meet at a local Burlington, ON, CAN Brewery. He was so welcoming to my family despite only knowing me through an online forum. He shared his story and was looking forward to his RAGBRAI 2016, which he was leaving early the next day. Despite having much better things to do he took the time to meet us.
Although saddened by this news a Bill will continue to live on in all of his many ventures.

Condolence: Bill was the guru of homebrewing Brews & Views. His input was always very well thought out. We communicated offline a number of times, and he helped me greatly. He was my inspiration. I'm so sad to hear this.

Condolence: I met Bill on my first day of college. He was the best man at my wedding and perhaps the best man in my life. His courage in completing his bike ride from Mexico to Winnipeg last year cannot be overstated. He will be missed by all of us more than we can ever say. Ride on! He and his wonderful wife were in Nashville for the great eclipse on 8/21/2017 and the clouds parted just as the event began. We have all lost a piece of us, but memories will be forever. We laughed a lot and it was all good. Love you Bill and Cristina.

Condolence: Bill was a great friend and a great gentleman. I knew him first from many on-line beer discussions. My wife and I first met Bill in 2003 when he invited us to join him and his friends to ride RAGBRAI. HIs adventure of Riding into Springtime last year continues to be an inspiration for us.
