Obituary for Reg Pendlebury

Reg  Pendlebury
Reginald Pendlebury was born July 17, 1930 in Hamilton Ontario, and died peacefully at home in his sleep January 28, 2018.

Reg was predeceased by his wife Marie, his parents Ann and Edward Pendlebury, brothers Ted (Eileen), Ernie (Joan), and grandson Adam.

Reg is survived by his children Ted (Tanya), Dave (Sue), Don (Sheril), Noel (Dawn), Ann Marie (Mark), Mary Virginia, Joe (Nancy), Carmel (David), Danny, Tony (Jill), Terry. He will be greatly missed by his 22 Grandchildren, and his 14 Great Grandchildren, along with his Niece Valerie, Nephews Doug (Sue), Bob (Deb) and their families.

Reg will be missed by his companion Diane, whom we give special thanks to for everything she did for him, and her special care for him.

Reg was a Teacher/ Principal with the Niagara Catholic School Board for 26 years. He was also an Electrical draftsman at Westinghouse prior to teaching. Reg was affiliated with multiple Community Associations. He had a passion for golf, bowling, and in past enjoyed playing baseball. Most of these passions he enjoyed doing with his Children and Grandchildren.

Reg will be sadly missed by all his friends and family!!!


Visitation at STONEHOUSE-WHITCOMB FUNERAL HOME, 11 Mountain Street, GRIMSBY (905-945-2755) on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayer Vigil at 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 135 Livingston Avenue, Grimsby on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. Any donations can be made in his Honour to Community Living Grimsby.
