GAROFOLO, Marguerita “Margaret” Barbara Mary (nee Amendola) -


Passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Carpenter Hospice in Burlington, on Saturday November 18, 2017 at the age of 82. Predeceased by loving husband Paul Raymond (1986). Cherished mother of Susan Garofolo, late Gary Garofolo (2004), and Paul Garofolo (Josee Lemire). Proud grandmother of Kiona and Emmanuel. Predeceased by her parents Agostino and Maria Amendola and all of her siblings. Margaret will be missed dearly by many other extended family, friends and neighbours. Special thank you to The Carpenter Hospice for the excellent care provided. As per Margaret’s wishes private cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Thursday November 23, 2017 from 12 noon until the Service of Remembrance beginning at 1:00pm. Reception to follow at the funeral home. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Margaret’s memory to The Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciate by the family.
