Dorothy H. Hamilton (Stanley)
Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the age of 88 at The Brant Centre, Burlington, ON. Beloved wife of Roger Staunton Hamilton for 66 years. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Iva (Oattes) Stanley of Carleton Place, ON and adored daughter Donna Lee Hamilton-Crabbe. Dorothy was born October 6, 1929 in Carleton Place, ON. She and Roger lived in Ottawa and Montreal prior to retiring to Burlington. She will be fondly remembered by her son-in-law Ronald Henry Crabbe (Leytha Miles), and dear family friend Cathy Benoit, all of Burlington. Thank you to the staff at The Brant Centre. Celebration of Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday, November 17, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Alzheimer Society of Canada or Diabetes Canada would be greatly appreciated.
