VARRASSO, Corrado
Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Anna Maria Varrasso (December 24, 2004). Loving father of Donna (Tony) Macri, Carlo (Sue) Varrasso and Sandra (Pat) Piro. Cherished Nonno of Eric, Julianna, Emily, Natalie and Olivia. Corrado will be missed by his dear, beloved friend Iolanda Salutari. Survived by his sister Antonietta (the late Zenobio) Boria, brother Nunzio (the late Ermelinda) Varrasso. Predeceased by brothers Camillo (Finizia) Varrasso and Joe (Anna) Varrasso. Brother-in-law of Frank (Waltraud) Riso, Vince (Lynda) Riso, the late Louis (Jenny) Riso and the late Vita Gennaro. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Corrado was a long time employee of Ford Canada, he will be fondly remembered for his love of golf. Special thank you to the doctors and staff of St. Peter’s Hospital for all of their wonderful care. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Vigil prayers 7:30p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, 934 Highway #8, Winona on Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11a.m. Entombment Bayview Mausoleum, Burlington. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Corrado are asked to please consider St. Peter’s Hospital, Hamilton.
