Obituary for June Edith Brierley (Ridley)
Lovers, soulmates and friends, after 71 years together, Leonard and June Brierley passed away just three days apart. June, in her 89th year, left us on Sunday, October 29, 2017. Leonard followed on Wednesday, November 1 at the age of 94. Even death would not keep them apart for long. June and Len are survived by their loving boys, Michael and wife Sydney, Ron and wife Marina, and Bill. Cherished grandparents of Michelle, Rhonda and partner Ryan, Sarah and partner Kevin, Mark and wife Carole, Jennifer and partner Eva, and James. Adored great grandparents of Ryan, Blair, Ella and Alice. Len, June and the entire family would like to express their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care from the entire staff at Aberdeen Gardens, and to Dr. Davis and Dr. Bursey. Cremation has taken place. A remembrance service, “Celebration of Life” will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, any donations made to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
