Passed away unexpectedly through unforeseen circumstances at the age of 91 on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 in Oakville, Ontario where he lived for the past 55 years. Beloved husband of the late Betty Stepanovich. He leaves behind his heartbroken and devastated daughter Michele and son-in-law Kent Bannister. He was adored greatly and will be terribly missed by his grandson Brett and granddaughter Brelyn. Predeceased by his six siblings, Amy, Danny, Mary, Millie, Eli and Daisy who lived throughout the United States. Mike is survived by many nieces and nephews in Ontario and the United States. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Monday September 25, 2017 from 6-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Road South, Hamilton on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
