JOHNSTONE, Tina Marie (nee Killen, formerly Boocock)
It is with extreme sadness that Tina’s family announces her unexpected passing at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton, on Tuesday September 19, 2017 at the age of 53. Beloved wife of Jeffery Johnstone. Dear sister of Willy Killen, Lorraine Lapierre, Steven Killen and sister-in-law of Bill Johnstone. Fondly remembered by her father-in-law Doug Johnstone, Jeff’s son Jason Johnstone and granddaughter Faith. Much loved daughter of the late William and Rose Marie Killen. Tina spent 23 years working at General Electric, then went on to become a Pharmacist Assistant working at Walmart Pharmacy. She was an enthusiastic Hamilton Tiger-Cats fan and loved her country music. She will be sadly missed by her family, colleagues and friends. A gathering to Celebrate Tina’s Life will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333 on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. with tributes at 5 p.m. Private Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Cancer Research Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by her family.
